The original Han Solo photo survived until the late ROTJ release when it was revised to the second picture you see below.  The gunner photo shows Han in the Death Star.

Had the POTF line continued this photo would have been used, as cromalins and proof cards which have surfaced prove.

The photo has been airbrushed and actually gives the appearance that Han is in his boxer shorts!  Why this has happened isn’t immediately clear, although the area which has been airbrushed is not featured on the cardback.
