I proudly present my new display here. My first display was build out of dioramas and was very simple and small. I then decided to make a whole new display with bigger dioramas. I stored the collection in drawers and boxes everywhere in the house for years now. Finally I had the time and space to build up the new display. The solution now is to display shelves with only figures always followed by a diorama. I hope you like the new display (WIP).

Hi. Sorry to both you. I am trying to identify the correct Chewbacca PBP coo and i noticed on your Chewbacca Poch photos you listed a PBP variant. Could i be a pain and ask you to take a photo of the Chewbacca PBP coo and email me a picture? Many thanks. Tom.
Hi Tom,
Chewbacca has no PBP figure exclusively appearing on PBP (later spanish) cards. The so called “PBP” Coo appeared all over europe. Here is a link to a very old and uncomplete coo guide of mine:
http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/COO-GUIDE-h21.htm#Chewbacca
The so called “PBP” coo is #8,9 and 11. But again: These can be found all over europe (with hard and soft limbs and different pouch colors). You can find tons of them on ebay so they are sadly not rare at all 🙁
Hope that helps.
Regards
Wolff
Cheers Wolff. I use your coo guide regularly and have all the chewbaccas on the list plus variations. I was slightly confused over the so called PBP variants so your reply has helped more than you know. I have been collecting variants for a couple of years and I should be asking for advice more often.
Me again, sorry. I have over 300 variants and have amassed a load of questions. Where’s the best place to post pictures and questions?
Best would be to join one of the SW-collector forums out there. 😉
If you register you could load up pictures and ask question and there will be lots of people who can help you.
For variants I would recommend you TheImperialGunneryForum:
http://www.imperialgunneryforum.com/
The biggest forums of all is Rebelscum:
http://forum.rebelscum.com/forum.php
Of course you can join both forums as well 😉
See you over there.
Cheers
Wolff
hi would it be pos for you to give me dimensions for the cabinet with the shelves and lighting wouldn’t mind making one myself
It is an Ikea cabinet: Billy. I think you will find very accuarte dimensions on the internet site??
You have an awesome variant collection and amazing display cabinet.
My compliments also on your COO guide, very helpful!
Thanks for sharing brother!
Cheers

Thnaks for the Kudos 😀
Hi where did u get the cool glass doors from ? I have a billy bookcase in oak where I display my figures but I love the visibility of those doors
Cheerez
Thanks! The doors are also from the Sewdish company that sells the billy 😉 . The used to be called morebo…I think nowadays they are called morliden. Good luck with those 😉
Hi me again sadly okra don’t do the glass doors anymore
Nevermind what are the stands made of polystyrene? Can u please what paint you used on polystyrene too
Cheers
“Morliden” still does exist here in Germany. I just checked. Maybe its just called different in your country? I would call the hotline. Polysteren is what I used for covering the steps yes. the satnds are made out of wood (the pins I mean). I used different colors, but nowadays I would always prefer Marabu. The itmne is called ‘”Marabu Buntlack black” not sure if this is availible elsewhere…..but Marabu does a great job. The color is expensive but the best rattlers I ever had…no problems at all with plastics and such and a very good color with very good surface which hardens very good. Hope this helps a bit.
Thanks you’ve been a great help
Please, can you help me about this Chewie?. It is from a friend…

Sorry for the first links…They don’t work….Sorry..please!!!
As an avid collector of variants I’m always looking for new sources of information – having come across your collection I can honestly say it has blown me away – absolutely amazing and I shall spend many many hours staring and drooling over it – credit to you my friend.
Would you please tell me the story of the red and black chewbacca figures?
Thank you very much for the nice words. Do you mean the bootleg ones?
http://swspaceclub.com/wbobafett/my-collection/gwiezdne_wojny/
The black one is an unlicensed Polish produced Chewbacca which was sold as Planet of the apes figure. You can find more about those here: http://www.starwarsy.pl/opowiadania/podroby_eng.htm
With red one you probably mean the Hungarian one, which is also 80’s and unlicensed.
